Oh my goodness, I have been introduced to a whole new world this week, and I still have TWO days left. First I want to tell you where I am, so, I am at the AIMExpo which is being held here in Orlando, FL. If you know me or have read any of my blog posts, then you would know that "Biker Chick" is not something that would come to mind when thinking of me. But, I have news for you, I have a new found respect for the Moto community.
I have spent the past two days working in what is called the "Media Hub" and its where all of the companies can come and display new products. So, ask me a question about a bike and I can probably answer it now. (not really.)
These people are so cool, and they all know each other so its like a big family with some friendly competition. Granted that what I consider bad language is the vernacular to them, and questions about why they aren't drunk yet are not few, or far between. But they are also some of the nicest people you could meet.
As a part of my job at the media hub, i had to make sure only media people got in and no one else because there was free food and coffee so you know how that goes. I had this on going joke with one of the vendors about how he didn't have the right tag so he couldn't come in even though after we were done he would be taking over the media hub space. So after the bajillionth time he came over, he gave one of his company key chains with I think are so cool. (at this point in the week, even the littlest things will make you happy)
So anyways, thats that. Visit the website, this is kind of a huge deal on the biker world.
